The first militia member was found guilty of all charges related to storming the Capitol on 1/6/21. These folks who wanted to play Army for a day thought they could prevent the peaceful transfer of power by taking over a building. I’m sure more than a few of them realized that they were wrong when the stood next to unoccupied desks, rifled through papers then thought to themselves, “What do we do now?”
You don’t take over the U.S. by occupying a building. America is not the Capitol, it is the people and its laws. That’s why they just left without achieving anything but disruption. Hopefully these militia types have learned something about democracy.
