Weare’s Matt Richard recorded four assists to lead the New England College men’s lacrosse team to a 10-7 win against the University of New England (5-2) on Tuesday in Henniker. Richard, a John Stark graduate, also added a goal for the Pilgrims (3-4), as did Daniel Medvetz, another John Stark grad.
Sean Largay scored five goals for NEC, including the opener just 17 seconds into the contest, sparking a five-goal first quarter for the Pilgrims.
William Platt finished with 13 saves for NEC while David Pearson had 10 stops for UNE.
