Don’t vote for genocide
Israel has imprisoned 2 million people and is purposefully starving them to death by only allowing a trickle of food in. Israel can’t afford to do this itself — it depends on American tax dollars. Make no mistake — this is an American project and our legislators are supporting it.
Is this what we want? Instead of funding basic programs like Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security and food stamps we prefer to use tax dollars to pointlessly kill children in Gaza?
Our federal legislators (Shaheen, Hassan, Goodlander and Pappas) refuse to call for an end to taxpayer funding of Israel. Why? The sick truth is they are doing it for campaign cash and power. They are serving those making money off genocide — the military-industrial complex, big tech, the fossil fuel industry and the powerful Israeli lobby AIPAC.
Politicians who make a cold political calculation to overlook genocide in return for winning elections are a terrifying threat to us all. We have an election coming up. Representatives Pappas and Goodlander are looking for your votes so they can continue their unconditional support for Israel’s genocide — Pappas for U.S. senate and Goodlander to remain in the House. This is our chance to be clear that we want our tax dollars to benefit Americans, not to enable genocide. If political candidates won’t listen, don’t give them our votes. Show them our American values can’t be sacrificed for the highest bidder.
