A man who police say pulled a gun on officers during a traffic stop last month is now facing 11 criminal charges, including multiple domestic violence-related offenses.

Bruce Sanborn, 54, of Center Harbor, was stopped on Aug 27 when Concord police officers pulled over a blue Subaru Legacy on Interstate-93.ย

During the stop, police say Sanborn brandished a firearm, pointed it at the officers, and then sped away.

The next day, New Hampshire State Troopers located his vehicle at a gas station on Route 3A in Bow. As officers moved in to take him into custody, police said Sanborn tried to grab a trooperโ€™s rifle. He was then placed in handcuffs.

Sanborn is facing charges of reckless conduct, criminal threatening, armed career criminal, felonious use of firearms, resisting arrest, driving after revocation or suspension, obstructing government administration, felon in possession of a deadly weapon, criminal threatening related to domestic violence, two violations of a domestic violence protective order.

Concord police said search warrants were executed before the charges were filed.

Sanborn has been held at the Merrimack County House of Corrections on preventive detention since his arrest. He was arraigned in Concord District Court on Sept 12.
