A different kind of candidate
Are you fed up with politicians who put our country into gridlock?
It’s time to look beyond party affiliation and labels like red, blue, conservative or liberal. Consider a candidate who sees public service as a responsibility, not a path to celebrity, personal enrichment, or partisan gamesmanship.
Karishma Manzur is that candidate.
She lives in Exeter with her husband and two children. She’s running a grassroots campaign for the U.S. Senate. Karishma isn’t a career politician, part of a political dynasty or funded by corporate PACs or foreign lobbying groups like AIPAC. She doesn’t have the financial backing or name recognition of establishment candidates, but what she does have is integrity, intelligence and a demonstrated commitment to the common good.
Over the coming year, Karishma will give New Hampshire voters the chance to see firsthand why she would make an excellent U.S. Senator. You’ll find that she holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology, and has spent over 20 years working on treatments for neurological diseases. Over time, she came to a painful realization: millions of Americans will never benefit from such vital work because they can’t afford basic healthcare.
It is unacceptable and the result of Congress members who too often serve their wealthy donors.
Karishma Manzur is a different kind of candidate. She believes we can and must do better. She’s asking us to join her in building a government that works for the people, not the powerful.
