In One Minute, A NH Steward

Did you know that the EPA plans to eliminate the Greenhouse Gas Emissions report, that for 15 years has provided vital information needed to protect people from global warming and all the damage it brings: worse floods and fires, extreme heat, air pollution and rising insurance costs?

So many rely on this information: communities, state and local governments and businesses. How else would anyone know both the sources and scale of pollution that causes climate change, including from oil and gas facilities, landfills and power plants. Removing information undercuts the knowledge citizens use to protect their families, community and New Hampshireโ€™s greatest advantage, our health and environment.
Join the New Hampshire United Church of Christ Climate Hope Affiliate, Concord Chapter by signing on to Regulations.gov site and opposing the elimination of Greenhouse Gas reports by Nov. 3, if possible. It only takes a minute. While you are there, you can read comments of others who oppose this drastic step.

Also, let the governor and representatives know this is important to you, (along with the $43 million that was pledged to public facilities and homes that would have kept energy costs from rising.) Progress in climate stewardship starts with a single step, and then it grows.
