No local teams made it over the hump of NHIAA volleyball final fours, but many local names were recognized by the New Hampshire Volleyball Coaches Association on All-State rosters.
After a fantastic run to the semifinals, Belmont’s season was cut short by the undefeated, two-time defending champion, top-seeded Inter-Lakes. The Raiders were the only team to best the Lakers in a set all season, and were aptly recognized for their efforts.
Senior Liv Chandonnait was named Division III Player of the Year for her performances throughout the season, and head coach Bry Kelly won Coach of the Year for her leadership of the team.
Coe-Brown’s Madi MacDonald, Sadie Sturgeon and Gabby Murphy were also named to the first, second and honorable mention lists, respectively. Concord Christian’s Evelyn Doan was named to the D-III second team after helping her eighth-seeded team reach the quarterfinals with the eighth seed.
In Division II, Coe-Brown’s front court duo of Izzy Grenier and Kelli Daniel were both named to the All-State First Team after a strong season where the Bears earned the second seed with a 15-1 regular season record.
