Gail Patricia (Clement) Morrison

Franklin, NH – Gail Patricia (Clement) Morrison of Franklin, NH, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at home. She was born on May 27, 1943, to the late Lewis and Laura Clement of Ipswich, MA.

Gail was a graduate of Ipswich High School in 1961, Salem State University in 1965, and Franklin Pierce School of Law in 1985.

Gail had many passions. She was an avid and gifted gardener. Her love of music and singing were lifelong, and she was a devoted reader and writer. She especially delighted in spontaneous adventures and the experiences and friendships she found along the way.

Gail was also a civil servant who valued honesty and fairness. She was elected to four terms in the NH House of Representatives, in 1976 & 1978, and again in 2004 & 2006, and she served when called upon for committees dedicated to conservancy, civil rights, and community service. She was always motivated by her belief in justice, kindness, and community.

Gail is survived by her beloved wife, Pauline Chabot, and their four children, Norman, Rachel, Eric, and Rebecca, along with grandchildren, Norman, Gabriella, Ruby, and Simon.

A celebration of Gail’s life will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of New Hampshire, in Franklin, NH.
