For nearly four decades Concord Kiwanis has supported the NHTI Paramedic programs, specifically as they relate to pediatric trauma. Over the years Kiiwanis has donated tens of thousands of dollars to purchase special equipment for this training as treating a pediatric trauma situation is different than treating an adult trauma situation. This year, Kiwanis funded two suction units, one large SAM Pelvic Sling, and one medium SAM Pelvic Sling.
