Nancy Guimond Keown

Hilltops Lakes, TX – Nancy Guimond Keown, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt, died on December 17, 2025, with family by her side.

Nancy was born in Concord, NH, on June 7, 1942, to Leo and Beryle Guimond. She graduated from St. John’s High School in 1960 and became a Registered Nurse after graduating from the Concord School of Nursing. Her career was dedicated to helping others as an emergency room triage nurse, Lamaze instructor, travel nurse, and in her retirement, a volunteer EMT in her Hilltop Lakes, TX community.

Nancy and her loving husband of 41 years, Johnny Keown, enjoyed many adventures together: traveling, sailing, skiing, and golfing, including completing 18 holes of golf at 50 courses in all 50 US States in 50 days. After extensive genealogy research, Nancy became a proud member of the DAR. Her seamstress abilities were second to none. She was the loving mother of Michele Merwin, Kathyrn (Michael) Pevine, Sarah (Scott) Stanley, Michael L. (Kim Schiavone) Mullavey, and Ashley Glenn; stepmother to Monty

(Holly) Keown, Kenneth (Mary) Keown, Marilyn Ropp, and Cynthia (David) Lusignolo. She adored her 11 + 9 grandchildren and 10 + 16 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Women’s Health Center at giving.brighamandwomens.org, where she was a proud participant in women’s health studies for decades.

A celebration of her amazing life will be held in the summer of 2026 in Franklin, New Hampshire.
