Salisbury, NH – Born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana, daughter of a contractor and a homemaker, Marilyn enjoyed a happy childhood, graduating from St. Francis High School for Girls. She married Lt. Paul L. Munier of Troy, Indiana in 1954. Life in the Army with Paul and daughter Paula Sue was an international adventure around the country and Europe. Over the years, she worked in banking and in retail, most notably as Macy’s bridal consultant.
Marilyn put family first. The matriarch of the Munier family, she was the one everyone came to for a place to stay or a shoulder to cry on or a pep talk. She leaves daughter Paula Munier Lee and her husband Michael Lee; grandchildren Alexis Munier, Gregory Paul Bergman, and Michael Paul Lee; great-granddaughters Elektra, Calypso, and Demelza; sister and brother-in-law Susie and Larry Mortsolf of Beavercreek, Ohio; cousins and nieces and nephews, and other beloved family.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
A private graveside service is scheduled next week. A celebration of life is planned for summer.
