Racism from the White House
Well, our white supremacist president has done it again. He has posted a racist meme of the Obamas on his social media account depicted as apes. We have elected a president who thinks he can say or do whatever he wants without consequences. Or does Trump simply have the values of those who elected him? Sadly, very few Republican leaders, including our governor, have the backbone to object to Trump’s racist remarks.
Trump has also called the Somalis “garbage” and has established ICE because of his xenophobia. We the people need to challenge our president on his unacceptable and discriminatory rhetoric and behavior because it can negatively shape our culture.
Please speak out against racist talk from the White House and teach your children that racism is morally wrong.
