Stanley P. Hamlin

Dover, NH – Stanley P. Hamlin, 68, formerly of Suncook passed away at his home in Dover surrounded by his loved ones on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Affectionately known as Hasle, Pops or brother, Stan was born in Concord on September 6, 1957, son of the late, Donald and Arlene (Ash) Hamlin.

He was a seasoned truck driver who spent his professional life in the transportation industry for many years, having owned and operated SP Hamlin Trucking for 28 years, hauled hazardous materials for L.P. Transportation, C3 Transportation, and most recently worked for Advanced Excavating & Paving for 3 years before his retirement. He also served his community as a pool water provider in Pembroke, for many years. Stanley reached a notable milestone in his career, having ridden 1.4 million miles in his Peterbilt Truck. In his leisure time, Stanley enjoyed drag racing and riding motorcycles, activities that allowed him to experience the freedom and thrill of the open road. His love for animals was evident in his bond with his bulldog, Ruby, and his Rottweiler, Jake, who often accompanied him on his rides.

Members of his family include his loving wife, Lyn (Romano) Hamlin, who stood by his side through every twist and turn life threw their way; sons, Joseph Romano and Bobby Perez and his wife, Katie and brother, Thomas Hamlin and his wife, Heather.

Calling hours will take place on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 4pm to 6pm at Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main St. PEMBROKE. A Spring burial will be held at Soucook Cemetery on Josiah Bartlett Rd in Concord on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 1pm.
