Why the silence?
Dear Governor and NH Legislators:
Did you know when Congressional candidate Christian Urrutia wrote expressing support for Attorney Andru Volinsky who received a death threat from the New Hampshire branch of the Libertarian Party for proposing an idea, the Libertarian Party told Urrutia “It is morally legitimate to kill any politician who poses a credible threat of introducing an income tax for New Hampshire.”
Did you know in 2025 the Libertarian National Committee voted to censure the New Hampshire affiliate “[f]or its despicable conduct, and invites them to disaffiliate and cease its use of the Libertarian Party name…”
I agree with Attorney Volinsky’s comments that it’s not clear which is more astounding, that one is threatened with death for proposing an idea, or the resounding silence from the Governor and the legislative leaders over this threat.
Lest we forget, we blamed the Germans for their silence about Hitler. By your silence, are we repeating history here?
