Voter fraud
The use of photo IDs has been used successfully over many years with no indication that it has led to fraud. Student IDs for both high school and college students, driver’s license, military ID and passports should all be valid forms of identification.
What the state Senate and House have approved, HB 323, is a blatant attempt to suppress the wishes of the citizens of New Hampshire. Non-citizens and people that try to vote in multiple states are rare, only about 10 in the last 15 years nationwide, but when found should be tried if found guilty serve time/financial penalties.
The framing of this as “voting security” is a red herring and needs to stop. Our elections have been examined and found to be fair and exempt from widespread fraud.
Please call and write to Governor Ayotte and request that she veto HB 323, the legislation restricting voter rights.
