Marilyn Lucier

Northfield, NH – Marilyn P. Lucier (Currier), 93, passed away on February 12, 2026 at Merrimack County Nursing Home, Boscawen, N.H. Marilyn was born in Concord, N.H. on November 24, 1932 to Roscoe R. Currier and Mary (Woods) Currier. Marilyn attended school in Concord, N.H. She worked for many years for the State of N.H. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald R. Lucier, in 1987.

Marilyn was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her four grandchildren and later her thirteen great-grandchildren. She loved to spend time with her family at Wellington and Ellacoya State Parks. She enjoyed taking the grandchildren fishing. She loved the ocean. Her favorite places were York Beach and Old Orchard Beach in Maine where she would spend time every summer with her family making wonderful memories.

Marilyn is survived by her daughter LeeAnn (Lucier) and spouse Carl Hilliker of Groton, N.H.; son Joseph D. Lucier of Franklin, N.H.; grandchildren, Matthew Hilliker, Jenna (Hilliker) Brady, Joseph Lucier and Jeffrey Lucier as well as thirteen great-grandchildren and twenty-two nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Ralph S. Currier, Louise M. foster, Christine E. Labonte, Catherine C. Hardy, Nelson P. Currier and Lawrence R. Currier.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Special Care Unit at Merrimack County Nursing Home for the loving care and compassion shown to Marilyn.

A special thanks to the Granite VNA Hospice team for their support in Marilyn’s final days.

A private service will be held in the Spring at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Concord, N.H.
