Franklin, NH – Elizabeth K. (Kimball) Poitras passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, March 5, 2026.
She was born on May 31, 1950, to Ralph and Kathleen Kimball in Concord, NH. She graduated from Concord High School in 1968 and worked for First Student in Tilton, NH from 2010โ2024 as a school bus driver for 14 years.
She enjoyed knitting and watching the birds and chipmunks when she sat outside at home. She also loved to watch The Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy on TV, and she was a Trustee at the church she was a member of.
She is predeceased by her husband of 26 years, Roger Poitras, her grandson Curt Fowler, and her sister Natalie Carleton. She is survived by her children, Jodi Desrosiers of Concord, NH, and her sons, Stephen Annis and Nathan Annis of Franklin, NH. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be on Saturday, March 14, 2026, 2:00pmโ4:00pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 172 King St., Boscawen, NH. Her celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, 12:00pmโ3:00pm at The First Baptist Church of Franklin, 21 Church St., Franklin, NH. There will be a private graveside service later in the spring for family at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester, NH.
