Pothole season
I read the article on Concord’s many potholes with great interest and, after driving to some errands, found they are worse than described. Formerly a long time Concord resident, I am used to terrible roads but let me tell you something — it doesn’t have to be like this. When the city of Concord patches a pothole, the patch wears out in days. When Manchester patches a pothole, it stays patched with the sole exception of the Amoskeag Bridge. I’m not an engineer and I don’t know why, different materials I suppose. Something to look into.
