Cheryl Evelyn Annal

Cincinnati, OH – Cheryl Evelyn Annal passed away quietly on March 12, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio with son Edward and her husband Chuck with her in her final hours. She had been fighting a number of illnesses over the last two years. She was pre-deceased by her parents Harold and Evelyn Kenyon of Syracuse, NY.

Cheryl was a graduate of Oswego State University in 1968 where she met her husband Chuck and the two were married in 1969. Later that year Cheryl earned a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Connecticut.

Cheryl was a school teacher for several years in both Connecticut and New Hampshire. Later, she was an assistant to a stock market advisor in Concord, NH. for several years.

One of her great loves was the camp her parents built on a lake in Inlet, NY in the heart of the Adirondack mountains. She spent hours kayaking on 6th Lake with loons often her companions. She enjoyed walking down to the village of Inlet and frequenting the quaint shops there.

Cheryl was a lover of cats. Her photo books were dominated by cat pictures, and the house showed off various knickknacks of cats, windows of stain glass cats, wooden sculptured cats and cat toys galore.

Cheryl was also a great traveler. She and Chuck spent time in Montreal, Quebec City, Nova Scotia, England, Rome, Paris, Scotland, Ireland (where her family came from) and various stops in the American West. Once retired, the couple spent three months each year in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

The couple moved to Cincinnati in 2025 to be near their son and his wife. She will be greatly missed.
