Roland H. Winn

Concord, NH โ€“ Roland Hiram Winn, 89, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026, after a brief illness, with family by his side as he peacefully went to be with the Lord.

Born July 12, 1936, in Piermont, New Hampshire, Roland grew up on a dairy farm where he developed a lifelong work ethic. He graduated from Bradford Academy in 1954, attended the University of New Hampshire, and served in the Air National Guard from 1957 to 1963.

He married Audrey Marion Kelso in 1961, and they made their home in Concord, New Hampshire, where they raised their family.

Roland worked for 30 years with the Department of Transportation and remained active in his community for decades. He served his church in many roles and contributed to local history efforts in West Concord. He was also known for his generosity, including many years of blood and platelet donations.

In retirement, he enjoyed gardening, camping, and time with family.

He was predeceased by his wife, Audrey; his parents; his brother, Gerald; and his sisters, Violet and Velma.

He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

A calling hour will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 1PM-2PM, with a service at 2PM at West Congregational Church, Concord, NH. Burial will take place Sunday, April 26 at 2PM at the Monroe Cemetery, Hunts Mtn Rd, Monroe, NH.
