Albro Patten

Concord, NH – Concord- Albro (Al) Leslie Patten, 95, passed away on March 14, 2026 at The Birches at Concord due to Alzheimer’s.

He was pre-deceased by his parents Karl and Margaret Patten of Bristol, NH and his three brothers.

Albro is survived by his wife of 75 years Lucile (Patterson) Patten and three children. David Patten (Denise) of Dunbarton, NH, Sharon Byron (Paul) of Mebane, NC, Elaine Patten (Harvey) of Bassett, VA, two grandchildren, one great- granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.

Albro was a 1948 graduate of Bristol High School. Following his service in the US Army during the Korean War he graduated from NH Technical Institute-Portsmouth with an Associate’s degree in Automotive Technology. After being employed for many years as a machinist, he established his own business.

Al was an avid race car fan and enjoyed anything related to cars. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife and friends to several other countries and throughout the USA.

His favorite hobby was woodworking, but he could do about anything. He became known as “Mr. Fix-it” to friends and family.

The family wishes to express their most sincere appreciation for the loving care received from the entire staff at the Birches.

A private celebration of life is planned by the family at a later date.
