Mary Blaisdell

Concord, NH – Concord, NH – Mary Blaisdell, 84, of Concord, NH, passed away peacefully on May 10th, 2026. Her journey, which began as one of six second-generation Italian immigrant children in Detroit, Michigan in 1942, serves as a lifelong tribute to family, community, and, above all, service to others. Moving to Concord, NH, in 1956, Mary graduated from Concord High School in 1960 and Concord Hospital School of Nursing in 1962.

Dedicated to building community, Mary was a lifetime achievement honoree of the East Concord Lamplighters, a member of the Concord School Board, and organized CHS Class of 1960 reunions as her class treasurer every five years right up until the time of her passing.

Her primary devotion was unmistakably to her family – a love that would often extend to any and all who entered their lives and/or her doorway for a celebration, a quiet talk, a quick update, or, of course, a homemade meal. Mary is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 63 years, Jim Blaisdell; and her four sons and daughters-in-law Jim and Laura Blaisdell, Mark and Tracy Blaisdell, John and Elisha Blaisdell, and Michael and Sarah Blaisdell. “Grammy” will also live on in the memories of her grandchildren Sarah and her husband Tommy; Parker and his partner Paris; Grace, Oliver, Olivia, Jessica and Nicole, as well as great grandchildren Mark, Dean, Leo, and Luna.

Calling hours will be held at Bennett Funeral Home in Concord on Thursday, May 21st from 4:00-7:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at Christ the King Parish in Concord on Friday, May 22nd, at 10:00 am.
