Henry is right
The letter to the editor written by 8th grader Henry Stewart-Fetter was right on. Our country needs and deserves universal health care. Henry closed his letter by proposing actions that we adults can take to work toward achieving this goal. Let me add another one: vote for candidates who will fight for health care for all. In the race for U.S. Senate, there is only one candidate who has promised to do exactly that — Karishma Manzur. Karishma is a scientist, not a career politician. She entered the race for Senate because she understands that our health care system is broken, and she has pledged to fight to fix it.
Maybe you haven’t heard of Karishma. That might be because she does not accept corporate or PAC donations, so she doesn’t have a boatload of money to promote herself. But she is the real deal and worthy of your consideration. Check her out at Karishmaforsenate.com.
Henry is right. We need to do better.
