Contoocook, NH – Donald R. Greenwood, age 85, of Amesbury Road passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
He was born in Claremont, NH son of the late Dona and Madeline (Jacobs) Greenwood.
He was a Veteran of the US Airforce. He met his wife Carol while they were both in college in Massachusetts. They lived in Littleton, NH for many years, where he worked for a printing company, he was also a member of the Littleton Lions Club. In 1976 they moved to Contoocook where he worked for Capital Offset Printing for over 30 years until his retirement. After his retirement he continued working for various car dealerships transporting parts.
He was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Carol (Petrosek) who passed away in 2011.
Survived by his son, Scott Greenwood and his wife Sharon and their daughters Meghan and Haley Greenwood all of Fairfield, CT; his brother, Dona Greenwood of Hopewell JCT, NY.
Visiting hours will not be held.
Graveside services will be held on July 2nd at 1 PM at the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen
