Unaffordably Petty

Donald Trump’s recent refusal to sign a bipartisan bill to make housing more affordable confirms that he is thin-skinned, petty, and a baby. It also shows that he doesn’t care for about anyone except himself.

The housing affordability bill has overwhelming support from both Republicans and Democrats. But because Trump couldn’t get a separate voting bill passed he threw a tantrum like a baby. He wouldn’t sign the housing affordability bill even though his administration supported it until Trump’s Tantrum. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt recently described the bill as “one of the most significant pieces of housing affordability legislation in American history.”

Trump won’t sign the housing bill because he is still chafing that he lost the 2020 election. And his voting legislation, the so-called SAVE act, tries to solve a problem that isn’t there. Not one election result has been changed by illegal votes in the recent past. There have always been a handful of fraudulent voters – both on the Republican and Democratic sides. But never in such numbers as to change an election. In short, he cares more about his bruised ego than he does about creating affordable housing.

Let’s remember that Trump yelled about 3,000 voters being bused up from Massachusetts to New Hampshire for the 2016 presidential election. Virtually no evidence has ever been produced to prove that. Yet Donald Trump wants to hold up affordable housing so he can chase ghosts that only he sees.
