A woman from Manchester was arrested on Wednesday night after a police pursuit on Interstate 93 Southbound through Concord.
Shannon Lavoie, 55, was driving a maroon 2025 Lincoln Nautilus between Exits 16 and 17 when New Hampshire State Police received a “hazardous driver” report around 10:34 p.m.
She was located by Exit 13, where she “failed to keep the vehicle within a single lane and did not stop when Troopers activated their emergency lights and sirens,” according to State Police.
Officers pursued Lavoie’s vehicle and used tire deflation strips to catch her south of the Hooksett Toll Plaza. Lavoie was taken into police custody and charged with misdemeanor aggravated DWI, DWI – impairment, disobeying an officer, reckless operation, violations of lane control and following too closely.
Her arraignment took place on Thursday in Concord District Court after she was held at Merrimack County Jail under preventative detention.
Nobody was injured during the incident, according to State Police.
