One person is dead following a motorcycle crash Thursday on Interstate 93 in Concord.
State police received reports on the crash, which occurred on I-93 southbound at Exit 17, shortly after 4:30 a.m. Good Samaritans tried life-saving measures until troops and first responders arrived. The motorcyclist went to an area hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced deceased, police said.
An initial investigation concluded that the 2019 Harley-Davidson Road Glide motorcycle traveled on the ramp and veered off the right side of the road. It went over the cement curbing and through the grass shoulder before stopping on its side near the guardrail.
The motorcyclist, whose identity is being withheld while next of kin is notified, was thrown from the bike at some point during the crash.
The crash remains under investigation, and anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Trooper Zachary Bilotta at 603-223-4381 or Zachary.T.Bilotta@dos.nh.gov.
