GFWC National Day of Service
On Sept. 26, members throughout the General Federation of Women’s Clubs will unite in a worldwide advocacy initiative, supporting women and children affected by domestic violence.
Our goal is to contact legislators, neighbors and families and encourage continue investment in programs that provide safe shelter, crisis intervention, counseling and mental health services, legal advocacy, child and family support programs, prevention and education initiatives.
Service is not only what we do with our hands. It is what we do with our voices.
As GFWC members, we believe advocacy is service by reaching out to elected officials and our neighbors, we help ensure that vulnerable women and children have access to safety, support, healing and hope.
