NO KINGS: Every vote counts!
Join people from across the Kearsarge region who will gather for a “No Kings: Every Vote Counts” event on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 pm. There will be music by the Ragged Mountain Band from Andover and more.
This is the fourth No Kings nationwide day of action, with thousands of local events planned across the country to encourage eligible voters to get out and participate in the mid-term elections on Nov. 3.
Ending with “hands around the green,” attendees will stand side-by-side to symbolize their unity of purpose. At 1:15 pm, the assembled group will have a moment of silence in honor of all who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Volunteer peacekeepers wearing orange vests will be present to help ensure a safe, fun and welcoming event. Participants are encouraged to bring signs, chairs if needed and dress for the weather. The rally will take place rain or shine.
