Kurt Webber for State Senate

Kurt Webber has my vote for State Senate, and I encourage my neighbors in District 2 (Ashland, Belmont, Campton, Center Harbor, Gilford, Holderness, Laconia, Meredith, New Hampton, Sanbornton, Sandwich and Thornton) to join me in casting their ballots for this thoughtful candidate who will listen to his constituents on issues including education, conservation, veterans’ services, healthcare and perhaps most pressing, the skyrocketing cost of living.

I met Webber recently and he strikes me as a smart, decent candidate who will engage with his constituents with humility and an open mind. In contrast, our incumbent senator is beholden to the free state movement, a misguided MAGA offshoot group which has presided over eye-watering price increases on gasoline and groceries, and on just about any other goods or services that regular New Hampshire citizens buy.

The incumbent, in spite of his position as a sitting committee chairman, has stood idly by as wrongheaded tariffs have erased small businesses’ margins, as data centers threaten our wild spaces and as our schools falter behind others in our region.

In challenging times, we need independent, service-minded thinkers in office. Character matters. Please vote for a reset in Concord and cast your vote for Kurt Webber.
