Sherideth Diana Seeley

Pittsfield, NH – Sherideth Diana Seeley, age 84, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 9, 2026.

Born in Pittsfield, New Hampshire, on October 25, 1941, Sherideth was the beloved daughter of the late Clifton and Ruth Cram.

The Pittsfield community remained dear to her family throughout her life. Excited to begin her journey into adulthood, she was married just after high school at 17 years old and welcomed her twin sons at the age of 19, proudly focusing on building and nurturing her young family first. With a keen mind and a deep calling to help others, she later pursued higher education, balancing motherhood with her studies to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, followed by a Master’s degree in Special Education and a Sixth-Year Certificate in Educational Administration.

While she faithfully devoted a portion of her life to public school special education as an educator and administrator, her ultimate focus, joy, and calling was her role as a pastor’s wife. Grounded in a profound love for her Savior, Sherideth served steadfastly alongside her husband in ministry. She lived with a constant desire to extend Christ’s love to everyone she met, opening her heart and home happily to host countless church members and visiting missionaries over the years with warm Christian hospitality.

Sherideth lived a vibrant life filled with the joy of the Lord. In her younger years, she loved being on the water swimming and water skiing with her family, and she continued to enjoy walking and music throughout her life. Her adventurous spirit took her across the United States, Canada, Europe, Russia and China. At home, she expressed her love through cooking, entertaining, sewing clothes for her children, and quilting. She especially treasured time spent at the family cottage at the Alton Bay Christian Retreat Center in Alton Bay, New Hampshire, where generations of family continue to gather.

Sherideth was joyfully reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, The Reverend Doctor Richard Arthur Seeley, with whom she shared 57 beautiful years of marriage before his passing in 2017. She is survived by her loving children: her twin sons, Calvin Seeley and his wife Alisa of Burlington, Connecticut, and Karl Seeley and his wife Jean of Wolcott, Connecticut; and her daughter, Ruth Smith and her husband Stephen of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Her legacy continues through her six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren.

She also leaves behind her brothers, Linden Cram and his wife Jean and Wayne Hall and his wife Lucy. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Jennifer Elkins Warren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Wolfeboro Bible Church, located at 533 Center Street, Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
