Now that Donald Trump is the apparent Republican nominee for president, many Republican leaders are circling their wagons in support of Trump’s deceitful promises.
It’s time for the voters of New Hampshire and all of America to rethink what the Republican Party has become.
A political party that promotes racism and inequality should be rejected. Sen. Kelly Ayotte and Congressman Frank Guinta have enthusiastically embraced this political circus act, which is devious and downright dishonest. Hiding behind well-financed, repetitive sound bites, Republicans mislead many voters into voting against their own best interests.
Sen. Ayotte and Congressman Guinta profess to support gender equality, but repeatedly voted against the Paycheck Fairness Act. In fact, Sen. Ayotte voted against it four times. Their support blocking the current Supreme Court nomination is just the tip of the iceberg when numerous other court appointments have been held up for years. Frequent disingenuous statements by Kelly Ayotte and Frank Guinta claiming they support hard-working men and women in New Hampshire are just not true.
For the last eight years, the Republican Party has worked extremely hard to stymie our nation’s growth. Let’s respond to their calculated choice of putting party ideology before our country’s well being. The Republicans certainly haven’t earned our vote and don’t deserve it either. Come November, elect Democrats up and down the ticket.
