The Concord Community Concert Association announces the second concert of their 87th season. The Avaloch All-Stars will play the City Auditorium on Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. This season, the All-Stars from the Avaloch Farm Music Institute in Boscawen will be four unique groups with different instrumentation and musical genres. The Bowland Dowdall Duo perform 19th-century music on period flutes and guitars. The Bicycle Trio, violin, viola, cello; play music from Beethoven to Schoenberg. SunSpeak is a jazz duo of guitar and drums, who are loved for their “melodic” approach. Rounding out the evening will be the piano quartet, Cloud 4, four women on piano, violin, viola, and cello. Come for refreshments pre-show and check out the Silent Auction “Harvest to Holidays!” Tickets are $20 and available at Gibson’s Book Store, The UPS Store or at the box office.
