Interesting article in the January 21 Monitor about testimony given in relation to HB 1255, the “teachers’ loyalty” bill.
The problem with HB 1255 is not in its vagueness. The problem is that it is wrong. The danger is not in what teachers may discuss in the classroom; the danger is from those who wish to restrict what may be discussed. I hope HB 1255 generates a lot of classroom discussion.
