■Learn all about Composting on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Boscawen Public Library. Find out what it is, why it is important and how to make your individual compost pile. The program is for beginners and those already composting.
■It’s not too late to bring the kids to the Boscawen Public Library to sign up for the Summer Reading Program. Lots of cool prizes can be redeemed using the stickers that are earned by the amount of time that they read. The six-week program ends on Aug. 6 with many activities until that time. The very popular Mr. Aaron is back to take us on a musical journey on July 18 at 6 p.m. Participants sing fun songs, dance, interact, tell stories, explore musical instruments and get creative together in the wide world of music. ■There will be a guest reader for Storytime at the Boscawen Public Library on July 13 beginning at 10:30 a.m. It’s not just stories but also music, songs, stretching, movement and crafts.
■The Book Discussion Group of the Boscawen Public Library will be sharing their reactions to the novel “The Dressmaker” by Kate Alcott on Tuesday at 2 p.m. The book shows the aftermath of the sinking of the Titanic tragedy, through the eyes of a brave young girl on her way to America to start a new life as a dressmaker. Additional copies of the book are available at the library for any patron interested in this novel.

■If you were wondering what state representative districts represent Webster, wonder no longer. Formerly, Webster was in District 7 with Warner and District 25 with Andover, Danbury, and Salisbury, but Webster will now be in District 5 with Andover, Danbury, Hill, and Salisbury, and District 26 with Andover, Boscawen, Canterbury, Danbury, Hill, Loudon, and Salisbury.
