ConcordHiring veterans

The Diversity Workforce Coalition will host guest speaker Jo Moncher of the Division of Long Term Supports and Services at the N.H. Department of Health and Human Services at its special employment event in support of New Hampshire’s military and veteran population. A networking period from 5 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, at 2 Delta Dental Drive, Concord, will immediately precede Moncher’s presentation from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The event is free for members of the Diversity Workforce Coalition. TiltonWreath sale

Pemigewasset Assembly No. 28 is once again hosting their annual Christmas Wreath sale. Wreaths are 22-inch and beautifully decorated with pinecones and red bows and are sold for $16. Other size options are available, upon request; pricing depends on size. We also have decorated kissing balls for $35. Wreaths and kissing balls can be pre-ordered by contacting mother advisor Beth Nemchick at enemchick@yahoo.com or messaging the assembly via Facebook at facebook.com/pemiassembly28. Orders will be confirmed after money is received and will be available for pick up on Nov. 30, at the Tilton Masonic Temple at 410 W. Main St., Tilton, N.H., 03276.

NorthwoodParent night

Parents interested in sending their children to Coe-Brown Northwood Academy are invited to parent information nights on Nov. 6 or Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. in the gym. The nights are focused on students in Strafford, Northwood, Nottingham, and Barrington, but anyone is welcome.

Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains will host a free information night for girls and parents on Nov. 12 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Franklin Public Library, 310 Central St.
