A man’s body was found in the Winnipesaukee River in Tilton on Friday, police said.
Authorities have not yet identified the man, who they say was found dead near the Clement Dam. An autopsy was scheduled for Sunday, according to a press release from state police.
Authorities said they would release the man’s name after his family has been notified.
Foul play is not suspected at this time, police said.
The Tilton Police Department, Tilton Fire Department, New Hampshire Fish and Game Department and New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit are handling this case.
