A $22.3 million bond to finance the renovation and construction of a Science, Technology, Engineering, Applied Arts, & Math, known as a STEAM, wing at the Kearsarge Regional High School failed to reach the needed 60% threshold to pass.

Across the seven towns in the district – Bradford, Newbury, New London, Springfield, Sutton, Warner and Wilmot – 1,652 voted for the bond, and 1,372 voted against it. It won nearly 55% of the votes.

All other articles on the school district ballot passed, including a $47.2 million operating budget.
