A kindergarten student at Beaver Meadow School in Concord has tested positive for COVID. Interim superintendent Kathleen Murphy announced the case in an email to families on Monday morning. The student was in Cohort B, and was in school last on Nov. 13. Murphy said that Beaver Meadow School principal Michele Vance has been in touch with families in Cohort B. However, given the length of time since the student was in school, New Hampshire DHHS will not be doing contact tracing.
Henniker Community School has pivoted to remote learning after a student tested positive. Principal Matthew Colby and superintendent Jacqueline Coe announced the case in a letter to families Friday. The student rode Bus #3 in the district, and school officials are urging students who were also on that bus to quarantine, due to potential exposure. DHHS is doing contact tracing. Henniker Community School will stay remote until Dec. 7, due to Thanksgiving travel and staff quarantine requirements.
