The popular chain restaurant Texas Roadhouse is coming to Concord this year to replace what was the family-owned Newick’s Lobster House on Loudon Road.

Planning Board members granted conditional approval for the restaurant’s site plan during their December meeting, said city planner Heather Shank.

The lobster house closed its location in March and the former building will be torn down and rebuilt to the city’s building requirements.

The new 7,831-square-foot restaurant, which is adjacent to the Dollar Tree, will feature 290 indoor seats, patio seating and 220 parking spaces.
