The Concord Police Department is conducting a missing person investigation to locate a 29-year-old woman last seen Friday afternoon walking in the area of Manchester Street and Black Hill Road.

Tenneh B. Sese of Concord was reported missing by family members, Concord police Lt. Sean Ford said Thursday.

โ€œAt this point, the Concord police are looking to locate Tenneh and check her welfare,โ€ he said.

City police and firefighters conducted a search Thursday morning along the embankment of the Merrimack River after finding some clothing in the area.

โ€œOur investigation gave us reason to believe she may have been under the bridge or down the embankment in the area of Manchester Street,โ€ he said. โ€œWe have concerns for her well-being and wanted to look to see if she had somehow entered the water.โ€

The department notified other towns downstream, as well as New Hampshire State Police, Fish and Game and Marine Patrol of their investigation.

Sese is an African-American woman with black hair and brown eyes. She stands approximately 5-feet-tall and weighs 120 pounds. Police said she was last seen wearing a light-blue shirt and salmon-colored pants. She was in the area of Manchester Street on Friday about 1 p.m.

Police ask anyone who has seen or had contact with Sese to contact Lt. Ford at 225-8600 or the Concord Regional Crimeline at 226-3100.
