Letter: To fight outbreak, local action is needed

There seems to be a lack of leadership on the state level in our response to the coronavirus. First of all we should immediately shut our schools to prevent infection in our kids. Our young seem to have some resistance against the virus but their parents and the elderly can suffer more serious consequences. The Capitol Center should cease operations and other meetings professional or otherwise canceled. The Concord Public Library as well should be closed. UNH and NHTI should go to online classes for the remainder of the semester. We all have responsibility to practice social distancing, hand washing and cough etiquette to fight this epidemic.
