I can’t explain in detail how a cell phone works. That doesn’t mean it was divinely created. That’s essentially the argument creationist Michael Behe makes: I don’t get it so it must be God.

And despite what Joseph Mendola says in his Feb. 15 letter, Behe was disproven. But Mendola and others who promote this fakery choose to ignore it. Mendola also fails to mention that Behe is paid by the creationist (and ironically named) Discovery Institute to promote this pseudoscience.

We live in a time when truth is under attack. The Behes of the world want to sow doubt about everything, hoping it will make us susceptible to idolatry. Don’t let them win.
