Epsom police, with support from the multi-pronged New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, arrested a 52-year old man this week and charged him with five counts of possession of child sexual abuse images.
Mark Dignan was arrested on Tuesday after a search warrant was executed by Epsom police and members of the task force, which included officers from the Portsmouth Police Department, the Amherst Police Department, the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office, the New Hampshire State Police, Homeland Security, and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, which featured the K-9, Niko.
The arrest was made “based on the digital forensic evidence which was recovered on scene,” according to a statement release by law enforcement.
The investigation is ongoing, police said, and anyone with information is asked to call Master Patrolman James Kear at the Epsom Police Department.
