Gabriela Duana, a student of Spanish, German, and French languages and a graduating senior at Concord High School is heading to Germany for a year – all expenses paid!

Her application to the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange and a series of interviews earned her acceptance to the program. She was the only student from New Hampshire among the25 students selected nationwide. In early August, she will attend an orientation in Washington, D.C., then fly to Germany, where she will enroll in language courses and live with a host family for two months. After that, she will be placed with a year-long host family, attend a German high school, and work at an internship of her choice. Her goal is to fully immerse herself in the German language and culture.
