The Henniker Community School welcomes the following new teachers for the 2019-20 school year.

Lisa Dowd joins the Henniker Community School as a special education teacher. A graduate of Albright College, she earned her special education master of education from Rivier University. Dowd comes to HCS following 10ย years at Pembroke Academy. She lives in Weare.

Christine Dugrenier is teaching third grade. A recent graduate of Granite State College with dual certification in elementary education and special education, Dugrenier is very familiar to the Henniker school community as she been both a student teacher and substitute at HCS. She lives in Goffstown.

Julie Elwood is a new kindergarten teacher who received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Southern New Hampshire University. She has dual certification as a kindergarten through sixth-gradeย teacher and in K-12 special education. Elwood lives in Weare.

Colleen Gagnon is a special education teacher. She earned her undergraduate degree from UNH, special education teacher certificate from Granite State College, and a master of education from Lesley University in Massachusetts. She comes to HCS after teaching for eight years in Freemont. She lives in Henniker and was a paraprofessional in the Henniker preschool last year.

Melissa Kontos, a graduate of New England College, joins HCS as a special education teacher in the skills center. Kontos worked at HCS since last fall as an interim special education teacher and case manager. She lives in Penacook.

Kasey Raynard is a special education teacher who recently moved to New Hampshire from Texas. Raynard is a graduate of Texas Tech University and comes to HCS with 18 years of experience in early childhood and special education. She lives in Henniker.

Nicole Richardson joins HCS from the Weare School District where she was an enrichment coordinator and classroom teacher for 17 years. Richardson, who lives in Weare, is teaching fifth grade at the Henniker Community School. She holds a masters in curriculum and instruction from New England College as well as her undergraduate degree and elementary education certification.

Jennifer Wifholm is teaching the combined grades one and two classroom. Before coming to HCS, Wifholm taught in Londonderry and Massachusetts. She earned her masters of education from Rivier University and a BA from Framingham State University. She lives in Manchester.
