Highlights: The Crimson Tide won seven of 12 events to earn a season-opening win in a commanding fashion at Plymouth State University on Saturday morning. Goulas was the only area athlete to win two individual events, sweeping the jumps. Concord scored 102 points to win the 15-team meet. Windham (60), Belmont (37), John Stark (31) and Manchester West (22) rounded out the top five. Gilford (20), Manchester Central (18), Bishop Brady (14), Plymouth (12), MV (11), Winnisquam (9), Campbell (8) and Laconia (1) were the other team scores.

Highlights: Reynolds won a pair of events to lead MV and John Stark swept the field events in a season-opening meet for many Capital Area teams at Plymouth State University on Saturday morning. Manchester Central (78), Windham (63) and MV (45) were the top three teams, followed by Inter-Lakes (38), Concord (36), John Stark (34), Plymouth (34), Belmont (16), Winnisquam (12), Mascoma (6) and Laconia (3) completing the team scores. Bishop Brady competed, but did not score.
