Three cars collided Tuesday morning along Interstate 393.
Concord Fire Department responded to the crash about 7:45 a.m. in the area of Exit 2 and found a three-vehicle accident with heavy damage, according to a press release.
One person was trapped in a vehicle. They were extricated by the fire department.
Due to the number of patients and severity of injuries, all three fire ambulances responded to the scene. A total of three patients were transported to Concord Hospital, the release said.
Westbound traffic from the interstate was diverted onto East Side Drive while rescue crews worked at the scene.
The crash is being investigated by New Hampshire State Police.
