While enjoying our nightly walk last evening, my wife and I stopped to visit with some very friendly farm animals at the Morrill Farm in Penacook.
The published Morrill Farm history tells us “the Morrill Farm Dairy was started by Rob Morrill’s grandfather, John Morrill, along Mountain Road in Concord, New Hampshire in 1919 with just one cow and a few horses. In 1925, John Morrill acquired more land and moved the farm to its current location in Penacook.”
We are so very fortunate and appreciative to see the Morrill Farm legacy continue a century later.
Our evening walk was so very much enjoyable with our brief encounter with history … and the cows were just adorable too.
