Thank you, Gov. Sununu, for understanding the importance of fighting to maintain the New Hampshire Advantage.
Not only has Chris Sununu kept his promise to protect New Hampshire from an income tax by vetoing legislation proposed by the Democrats locally, but he is also defending Granite Staters from being improperly taxed by out-of-state employers.
A recent report that the July 21 rule enacted by Massachusetts would continue to tax employees who live in New Hampshire despite working from home during the global COVID-19 pandemic not only unfairly targets New Hampshire residents, but may even be unconstitutional in the Granite State.
Gov. Sununu quickly took action in having the N.H. Department of Justice begin a review to examine if any state is inappropriately taxing New Hampshire residents.
The governor’s leadership is critical in helping citizens who are impacted by this unjust, and horribly timed rule.
Kudos to Chris Sununu for continuing his steadfast support of the New Hampshire Advantage and safeguarding residents against an unfair and economically devastating income tax, especially during these challenging times.
